Hullo everyone! My name is Chris Murray, and I’ll be your host this evening.
I’ve been interested in food forever (and have the belly to prove it), and have been cooking for close to 30 years now. I like to cook, read about cooking, watch shows about cooking, do research about cooking, and eat, both my own food and others’.

I expect this to be about food I’ve cooked, cookbooks I’ve enjoyed, and cooking tips. If you’re looking for more, please let me know what you want and maybe I’ll actually try that.
THINGS YOU WON’T FIND
I don’t care for anything from the water besides salt and seaweed, so you really won’t find anything about seafood here.
I’m not the biggest fan of mushrooms, but I appreciate the flavor they add, so you might see a recipe or two involving them.
I’ve never enjoyed mayonnaise (except the (misspelled) Smashing Pumpkins song), but I might try making it at some point — I like eggs, I like oil, I love lemon juice — so we’ll see.
